CQCSPN Inc runs SafeTALK workshops in collaboration with Rockhampton South Rotary Club and CQ Hospital and Health Services

The Network also supports Wesley Mission Lifeforce with their S.A.L.T. workshops which are provided for free in Rockhampton (pre-COVID) and online forums

Education

Education can help alleviate the stigma and misinformation in the community around suicide

SafeTALK (via Livingworks) is provided to community members for free throughout the year.

The Network also promotes other suicide prevention training which takes place (this is where collaboration with other services is vital)

Communication

Many members of the Network and the Management Committee have professional and personal interest in the suicide prevention work that is being done in our community.

Building relationships and having a positive dialogue can help with the vision of the network

Reflection

We provide opportunities for informal and formal avenues of conversation to take place. The Reflection Site is a place where people from the community can go to where a group meets there on a weekly basis on Sunday mornings.
